Can't find Pattern Mutator in my player list!

I just downloaded and installed Pattern Mutator in demo mode, but can't find it in Reason 11 suite to use it. Do I have to activate it or what am I doing wrong?

You looked into "Players" in the file browser? It's not in the "Rack Extensions".

Maybe you need to re-sync or re-download it from the website.

Yes I did look into players, and not in extensions. I did re-downloaded too, to no resust....... But Thanx!

Deleted it from my authorizer, and installed it again, restarted REason 11 suite nothing! Did this more than 5 times....... Looks if there is no hope for a relationship between the mutator and me........ HELP!!!!!!

Ok, one last thing: Try to delete the file directly in the RE folder. I am not at my computer atm, so i cannot look where the are located. Than re-sync via website and see, if it gets downloaded. Btw, which Reason version do you have? I think it requires a quite new Reason version. Latest updates?

@Loque: I tried everything you suggested. Nothing helps... I tried the demo of the 4 channel dub preamp, and it does not show either..... The authorizer shows them both as installed, but somehow it does not work for me, and I recall now that I tried to get the demo of friktion working, but that did the same.

It drives me crazy, and I don't want to buy before I try.

Just double checking, are you performing a search for these in the Browser / looking under the Reason Studios category? Or perhaps are you only looking under Built-in devices? Because they wouldn't be there. Have you successfully been able to try a RE in the past?

Yes I have, the Selig de-esser, bought it for € 29,= and works like a charm. It seems I cannot demo stuff.

No, you are correct.

You should find it under Players > Reason Studios.

One other question, are you using online authorization when starting your Reason session? That's the only way to access RE trials, subscription-based REs, and RE betas.

Today I installed the "paid" version of Set CV out. I noticed it took a while to write the license. With Pattern Mutator it doesn't take that long, in fact you don't see it write a license at all. So I suspect there is something wrong with my system, i.e..: it won't write demo licenses.

Check if Mutator is in your Rack Extensions folder. You'll find it here:

Windows: %AppData%\Propellerhead Software\RackExtensions

The sub-folder for Mutator is called se.propellerheads.Mutator.1.0.0f1.

If the Mutator folder is there, you could try deleting it and then downloading the RE again?
Make sure that Reason isn't running when you do any of this.

Yes, the folder exists, but Reason just doesn't regonize it.
The rack extensions are located in my machine under:
C:\Users\Music PC\AppData\Roaming\Propellerhead Software\RackExtensions\se.propellerheads.Mutator.1.0.0

I have done so allready many times, with no result. In the meantime I have contacted support also, might be an issue with my licenses in their database. Just guessing, but it might be.

Just installed the free VU-Meter that Mr Frigg posted, and it writes a license and works........ don't understand it anymore......
