I for one was really hoping that this could be the clip launcher device i am looking for. A Recorder/Player that can be triggered in a matrix.
But the SDK still provides distinct barriers to do exactly that eg in that it prohibits remote record activation. I hope one days they get this going but sometimes i have the feeling they dont want it to happen.

I imagine a Matrix of cells where each cell sends out quantized triggers for record, play, stop and maybe pattern selection via CV into Players/CV Devices that have these conncections (currently they haven't). And we would have a rudimentary Cliplauncher even without a sequencer update.
