How far are we from a modeled string, brass ensemble RE like Friktion

Friktion sounds freaking good
I hope RS is "recycling" their tech for strings, or brass. Lots of possibilities, small footprint on the drive. I understand no one can know the answer.

Not too far...i speculate they are currently testing other resonating models and we do not see additions to Friktion, but a few new RE in the near future...

i dont really like it to be honest i think they play better but dont sound as good as samples

2) Friktion does not replace sampled solo strings, but complement them perfectly. We can use them together when needed.

there are already VSTs that do this, I think. would love to see it as an RE for brass and woodwinds.

if it didnt give you something samples didnt there wouldnt be a market would there , i just dont like the sound of it , i guess mixing
them together works , i do this with orkester and stringwerk and stringwerk and pads nice
id rather see more sampled orchestral racks for reason we dont have many of those , a update for orkester maybe

Yes. Friktion is a solo instrument. It would be cool to have a modeled orchestra for string ensemble as well.
