.... I think I prefer using pongasoft's free 12 channel A/B switch. The only thing it's missing is the mono button. But you can adjust volume, run the switches via CV and enable more than one channel at a time. I'm not sure that I will ever use this Red Rocks device; I'm probably going to uninstall it. But thanks for the free RE, all the same!
I feel like they are two different applications being targeted. If you just want to compare your mix to a reverence mix, the Red Rocks device is almost exactly what you need.*

*If they could add labels, signal indicator LEDs, and volume trim for each input, and maybe reduce the button size, I'm sold. Buttons shouldn't need to be bigger than any other button on the UI IMO, especially buttons with such simple numeric displays, and reducing them a bit will look better (IMO, of course) and also leaves room for the other "essential" (again IMO) controls.

I'm always for any device that helps you simply accomplish useful every day tasks, such as comparing a reference mix to your current mix.

I think this device is fantastic tool and I like GUI a lot. I don't need 12 x AB nonsense, only two or three, four at most. Mono buttons is nice touch. It's like perfect!!

Thanks man, keep up the good work.

Looks useful although oversized GUIs are a pet hate of mine. These devices are going to look ridiculous when Reason finally gets a hi-res rack in 2030. Part of the blame is on RS though, if they'd introduced some kind of zoom feature there wouldn't be so many GUIs that are out of scale with the Rack and built in devices. Even Europa is pushing it.

Ok, I made the buttons smaller, now it looks more like a Reason device?

Thank you, these are good suggestions, but I had an idea to make the device as simple as possible, I assumed that you can use labels, and volume fader directly on the "audio track" device

I think Reason’s VST device doesn’t look like a Reason device and should be removed. 😆

Looks a lot better to me!

I think somewhere in the RE SDK there is a section about GUI and the real world measurements of the Rack in millimetres. That should give developers an idea of how close their GUIs are to the scale of the Rack in er, real life and whether the item is a switch, finger sized button or a drum pad sized object. The new version looks about right I think, and has a bit of a broadcast hardware kind of feel to it, at least for me.

Big buttons are good. You can punch them with the whole fist and not only your little finger...

Dust off your Latin, then perhaps it'll start making sense :)

I just found this RE through this thread. Thanks for sharing! Will be very handy. Was wishing for something like this for quick references. Big ups to Red Rock. I like the clear interface as well as the mono button.

Could not agree more about "New arrivals". I probably miss out on many new devices because suddenly someone throw in some refills or make a minor update on an older device. Why dont RS fix this, it should be of their own interest, not to say the developers releasing something new, just to see it disappear in a fog. Pls... :)

The following URL, which doesn't seem to exist as an hyperlink on the website, will lead you to the complete shop products list, sorted by new arrivals:

Just bookmark it ! :)

Thank you Red Rock for the free device.

Would be nice if it had the ability to actually load tracks rather than having to put the tracks into the sequencer.

that would be amazing, but that kind of programming might be prohibitive for a free device. there are pretty good VSTs out there that do this (I use Mastering the Mix’s Reference, for example).
