The video shows how to do it. You just need RB Sequences and the free CVPT from Lectric Panda (could also use LoveOne's MIDI-CV Cnverter). This solution should give you as much randomization as you can handle. Matrix speed can be adjusted to taste.

Good old trick ;)
I use keyboard shortcut for randomisation, it's quicker.
When Matrix sequencer is highlighted, just hit Cmd+R (MacOS) / Ctrl+R (Windows) to make random pattern.

Yes, agreed, the keyboard shortcut is much quicker than what's shown in the video. Clicking CTRL + R doesn't really show up very well on a video, though. :)

Interesting video. Amazing that it works despite Note and Gate CV from the Matrix being routed to the opposite inputs on CVPT (0:55 in the video).

ha ha ha, I was wondering who would catch that. I fixed that when the recording was paused for a second.
