nice! phaser demo sounds really good. not sure why, but despite my best efforts over the years, I‘ve never been able to appreciate the sound of a spring reverb. sure is a tasty looking GUI though.

Hmm, he put CE and UL marks on them. I believe that is illegal use of official markings, yikes...

Nah, the CE mark is on Reason stock devices too. I believe it's safe since it's software and not acctual electronic products. :D

Spring reverbs are the best reverbs.

Wow, you've been busy Erik! Congrats on the releases. I really like the design of Janus, it looks great!
Players are to MIDI what synthesizers are to waveforms.

You have the dimensions right even for the CE logo hehe, it's for a whole bunch of things btw not just electronic products :P

Sorry, but you're actually wrong. And that someone else is wrong too doesn't make it right.

The fine for misuse of the CE mark is usually between $1000 and $100000.

You may not affix it to a product that isn't compliant or didn't require compliance. I have taken products through UL and CE so I know.

Anyone could call this in and put you in trouble if they wanted, same with RS if they do it.

Look really nice these two. Surely 'Sreading' should read 'Spreading' though, unless it's some phaser term I've not heard before?

Then you should give RS a call - CE is pretty widespread on their devices. Instantly found it on MClass devices as well as RV7000.

(oh also on Softube Amps)

Was just talking to a friend about Janus a little while ago and felt I had to write here as well. Now, I'm talking purely from a guitar perspective, but Janus has really got to be one of the best phasers I've ever heard. I've got 10 or 11 REs/ Phasers already and have owned a number of hardware boxes over the last 35 years. There's something about Janus though which just does it for me. The Kuassa one was just ok (and I love Kuassa but it just didn't feel right). The Uhbik one...nah. Synapse 80s was pretty close to what I was looking for but not quite there. Janus though...it's round and whole and warm and I can't say enough good things about it. I've not tried it on any synths or drums or anything but on a guitar it's magic. Anyway, that's what I wanted to say. It's really worth giving a try out.

Mr Figg, so happy to hear this - specially since I've only tested with guitar samples during development. Might be time to pull out my guitar from the closet now :)

Also: both got updated GUI's. No more CE markings on the back and the missing P's in "sPreading" on Janus is there now!

I just bought both of these. Really like the devs work in general and his helpfulness, too. I was wondering if it was possible to get a CV in for the rate on the phaser, too. It could make some interesting effects.

Thank you.

I think I would still prefer it in the RE itself, just to save a few clicks.
