Can you guys & girls please point me to best MSEG (multi-stage envelope) REs? It should ideally have an option to choose between midi trigger and sync to transport.
I've found those:

https://www.reasonstudios.com/shop/rack ... enveloper/

Best MSEG devices in RE shop?
Movement is good, also a oscilator which do crazy stuff.
Never tried ReAction or Frame CV, maybe i should...Dunno if Frame CV can be triggered easily with MIDI and Speo's site is offline.
I couldnt make good use of Shape as triggered Envelope Shaper. Its a bit difficult to change the curve and adjust to your needs.
There are also Charlotte and PSDN, both are not graphical and for PSDN is a long promised update overdue.
I am not fully satisfied with all of them as an Envelope Generator. Just wish i had Europas Envelope as a separate unit. With programmable/automatable/modulateable steps.

The Sweeper basically has that envelope module and CV output for it. It does not allow to automate the steps, but since you can automate the envelope rate, maybe that gets you close to what you need.
Well, yes, you ar right. It also has a handy envelope follower. Got to get used to the new stuff Not sure atm if it can be triggered via MIDI directly.

I love the Arturia function generators with the randomize widgets you can attach to the nodes. Be great to see that in a Re. As well as an end of cycle cv trig like in Euro rack things.
So, no MIDI directly.

I don't know the "sidechain reactor enveloper" but the others I do a bit.
Movement:
- the waveform can be adjusted with knobs and be automated as well.
- The UI of the knobs is a bit counter-intuitive for me
- possible to loop a part of the envelope
- accepts midi and you can attach a player on top of it.
- velocity scaling
[Actually I can stop comparing right now, I think Movements wins for me as an envelope.]
- more ..
Frame cv
- possible to draw 6 different waveforms
Shape
- crazy envelopes
- Capture cv, but not yet found a use for it.
-has an LFO function to run without external triggering.

Thanks guys!
SCRE is more known as a (multiband) Pump / Sidechain device, but it can also work as an envelope generator. It's pretty neat

Hmm , I should check it out, I'm about to buy pump, just because it's such a fast and comfortable way to get some ducking going. Was also looking at Shaperbox, but I like things in the rack.
O and by the way, of Shape and Frame doesn't have a sustain...
Pump is much faster to setup, because this is its only use. SCRE is more complex, but also I think more flexible.
CV Mutant has some interesting features - https://www.reasonstudios.com/shop/rack ... cv-mutant/.
