rack extensions, 2 accounts, one computer

so, i and someone else both use one computer for reason, and we have 2 different accounts. if one of us buys a rack extension and puts it on the computer, will the other be able to use it with his own account on that device?

Do you both own a license for the RE? If not, then probably not.

Nope. REs are tied to your account. It doesn't matter if you have the RE files saved on your hard drive, if the code meter doesn't show a license for that account, the RE won't show up in your Reason session.
