I just noticed that in the reasonstudios shop for rack extensions, there is no "try" button anymore. I've been searching the support docs, googling etc, but could not find any information regarding Reasonstudios removing the try/trial feature for REs. This article in the support pages state that there is a 30 day tryout for all REs. Indeed, I've used this feature before.
Of course I could email Reasonstudios, but I have a feeling it will take a while to get an answer. Maybe someone here knows about it?
No trial for REs?
It's lower down man. Under the thumbnails.tuggbak wrote: ↑21 Dec 2019I just noticed that in the reasonstudios shop for rack extensions, there is no "try" button anymore. Edit: Oops. Just saw that’s already been answered.

It’s like they’re making it less obvious on purpose so people either buy right away, rent to own, or subscribe.
A lot of people must have fallen into this trap by now.MannequinRaces wrote: ↑22 Dec 2019It’s like they’re making it less obvious on purpose so people either buy right away, rent to own, or subscribe.

I reckon they have. Before the site redesign the try button was right there in the top right easy to see. Super hard to miss. Now even longtime Reason users are overlooking the new location. Crazy. It is 100% on purpose to do it that way.orthodox wrote: ↑22 Dec 2019A lot of people must have fallen into this trap by now.MannequinRaces wrote: ↑22 Dec 2019It’s like they’re making it less obvious on purpose so people either buy right away, rent to own, or subscribe.
I doubt it's a deliberate deception, rather yet another stupid design decision, of which there is a long list of those, as to how Reason do things.

There’s even room for it to still exist with the other three options in the top right but nooooooo. Do you see how small the text is compared to the other options?!?! This was deliberate and they probably had meetings to hash it all out. This is not the doing of some rogue website designer who doesn’t talk to people in marketing.
yep 100% on purpose in my opinion too, but atleast its still there as I bet that entered the conversation too!!MannequinRaces wrote: ↑23 Dec 2019There’s even room for it to still exist with the other three options in the top right but nooooooo.
