Quadelectra Beatchop

Hello, does anyon using Quadelectra Beatchop, know if it allows you to record into the sample buffer then trigger large slices of a sample or does it only allow for small glitchy chops? For instance if you record a 2 bar drumloop into the buffer is there a way to break it up into just 4 slices? Hope this makes sense. I trialed this rack extension years ago but dont remember.

It’s been a while but I think that’s what the resolution knob is for. You set the. Buffer length and then divide it up into slices using the resolution control. I may remember wrongly.

Buffre can do up to two measures, not sure about Beatchop.
