Yes and I kind of enjoy it! I will sometimes splurge on random RE's that don't necessarily seem up my alley, as I like to reach for new/unexpected tools when I'm in a rut while making a song.

not really, but I tend to give them priority over the VSTs if I'm not needing some feature that a concrete VST has and can't be replaced by the RE
