SB Filter Pattern - how to sync ?

Is there some way how to sync patterns in this device ?

I can't sync the patterns to sequencer or to note gate thus the result sound is unpredictable and random. Without the sync the device is practically unusable...

I really loathe those REs. They never had manuals, so you have no idea what they do exactly. What are the patterns? They came out with the first round of REs, and Propellerhead packed them into the Synth rig for years and years as if they added value.

Select "sync" in the Sweep Pattern. Not working for you?
Manual is here: http://www.sugar-bytes.de/content/produ ... attern.pdf

Sparse manual, sure, and you have to listen to figure out how it works, yes, time consuming. But once you find something that works it is pretty useful and unique in some cases

Yes, I know that there is "sync" in "sweep speed".

But it has no relation to pattern and its ability to sync.

I' ve also read the manual but it's very brief.

I agree that you don't know what patterns do. But it seems they are just various filter types rhytmically triggered.

It seems there is no way how to get synchronized pattern movement. It's pity because I like the animated sound character that can be added to the original static sound.

Yeah, it kinda wonky. If I remember correctly I got it to sync up but the pattern did not repeat, so I recorded the audio from it and chopped it up. Got some great results that way, but not really ideal as it isn't very repeatable, you kinda have to capture it, but it was synced in rhythm though. But sometime you want a unit for happy accidents - I consider it one of those. Not a unit that you put on your engineering cap to design a sound, just fiddle and capture.
