Hi. question: does anyone knows if exists a hardware version of Tm-1 multiplexer?
In Reason, it is possible via a simple combinator patch, to filter incoming notes, so that an
external drum machine, say volca beat for example, can trig an envelope, that trig tm-1.
from TM-1, we combine the output in polyphonic mode, and send the midi out.
This is basically a note translating process, that could well be done in a player, anyway
it's already possible.
But question is, does anyone knows of some hardware that can do this??
(On a budget- max 100$)
In this scenario it would be used to trigger a Microgranny, adding just another midi trs out, it could
be used for whatever.
Ah, function 3 and 4 could be pots to cv/midi/gate control of width in normal and latch mode.
If pots had press or button function, they could be used for learn function also, but that would add costs, maybe just normal 10k pots would do it.
TM-1 multiplexer hardware?
found this, maybe this should be posted in HW and other software.
it lacks the midi to trig function, so it would need another module... and it's eurorack, which i
do not personally want to engage, but that's my problem...

This much more likely to win, even if it's totally midi, and I would have to write my own code each time I would like to swap stuff, it just need a proper interface... I would happily live without the cv in function or trig to midi clock....
even if I would lose trig to gate/env function, which is totally a thing when going Eurorack; just setting samples in Granny or Volca sample to loop mode, kinda solve the issue, I mean for the budget I have in mind definitely has it.
But still, it's just a prototype board.

Found an alternative, not exactly what I was dreaming of but...
It's all pc based, but the price is right, no cv, but it's ok also.

A Magic box
A very useful box, with which you persuade your midi system to do what you want it to. I have two Doepfer Maq 16/3 Analogue sequencers which can send continuous control change data as well as note information, the only problem with the Doepfer is the control channel numbers are not the same on the synths I have, I can programme the midi solutions midi event processer through a P.C, and it allows me to convert the control channels sent by the Doepfers to the control channels that my synths respond to, it works really well.
Price wise the first choice would be the retrokit rd-002, but as of now, I can't tell there will be another firmware available that could suit my options

I guess this is the closest? It has 10 trigger inputs that it converts to MIDI out.

Anyone remember the Alesis DM5? It had 12 trigger inputs that I believe (please check first) appear at the MIDI outputs, and can be found for $99 used (it's long discontinued, fwiw).buddard wrote: ↑25 Jul 2019I guess this is the closest? It has 10 trigger inputs that it converts to MIDI out.

Inputs: (12) 1/4" (each with 5 user adjustable trigger parameters)
but can't find anything on the midi out translate, It appears it can map any incoming midi
to whatever midi to internal drum.
