Rent to own question

if you have paid a few months of something over like however many months , have you ever abandoned it and just thought
ok im not gonna buy that or pay more but I lost that money i'll just say I rented it ?
or do you feel like ok ive paid 15 or something im gonna carry on with the other 80 for example ?

I am buying five REs as rent to own and I actually chose them very specifically, so I have never had the thought I would stop paying them until I own them

If I should break one of these payments some day I always see it like this: ok, I've rented that instrument for X months and it was ok, because I have been able to use it while I was paying for it. For me this doesn't feel like loosing money at all and if some day I finally decide to buy that instrument, the paid amount will still count, which is something you don't have in other payment options like a subscription plan for example.
