Via another Player would be cool. Any idea?

When it's on Key mode, you just let go of everything?

Automate the On button. There might be other ways but that should work.

I also just tried putting a drum sequencer player before QNG, put QNG on Key mode and then put in a pattern on one drum lane. The pattern will then trigger QNG to play in time with that pattern. You might have to play around to make things easier and have the base key in QNG match the same key trigger in the drum sequencer for the lane. Hope that makes sense. I'm attaching a combinator so if you have drum sequencer and QNG you can check it out.

Thank you. I think I am getting closer to getting it.

Key mode: if you work with uncombined QNG then generator start after press any key. If QNG put into combinator then QNG will start with any transport start (because "run pattern device" button on Combi panel started always when transport start). It is not always appropriate, how to achieve standard behavior?

I’m also trying to figure out how to get around the constant affect of incoming midi notes on a base note. Because of this, it is almost impossible to use more than one QNG in serial.

A big thanks to all. I tried to like QNG again, the deal making it sweeter. I got RB's Sequences instead. I already own LP's RND Player. I like QNG. I love Sequences+RND.

RND is really good. I’m getting some good results. Haven’t tried it with Sequences yet.

I used a pulsar with a square wave to trigger qng on and off in a combi.
