Bought Synthetic Rig 3 in May for £116, obvs bargain as I didn't have any of it so can't complain.

Rig 4 is showing me an upgrade price of £71.

I've had my eye on Umpf for a while, especially as I don't have the Drum Sequencer already. It's in Rig 4. I have £25 reward to use and Umpf is in the reward shop, so will cost me £64 at the moment.

Been waiting to see if Umpf is discounted in May. Am I right in thinking that I can only use £25 reward for Umpf against the full price and that it won't make any difference to me if it is discounted? If so, Rigs 4 upgrade it is

It was in the Synapse bundle, not in the SynthRig. But what else went away? PredatorRE I think?

Yeah. Backline. ReTron is still there.

i don't quite get this rig update thing. the user wanted feature "complete your bundle" would make way more sense. thats just imo.

Why on earth is Maia in the Backline Rig?

Had my crystal ball been working I wouldn’t have bought Super Audio Cart two weeks ago and would have upgraded instead. Ah well, such as life and the cutthroat world of music software, lol.

I believe some optimization has been done, but the big difference is probably Reason 10.3's buffer size fix. Still a monster synth, just like Diva, Expanse and so on, so test it first. But it is superb if your computer can handle it. The developer has also alluded he is re-writing it. But no timeline for this update or what it will be. The VST UI is much better if you want to make your own patches from scratch, but they sound the same.

Upgrading to a newer Rig, do you keep your original Rack Extensions that are no longer a part of the Rig?

If you upgrade from say synthetic rig 3 to synthetic rig 4, do you lose the re's that are in 3, but not 4? ie predatorRe?
