What makes the ReVoicer different from a typical Vocoder?
It is a Stereo Spectrum filter-bank Vocoder with an Internal Oscillator that can work as Oscillator Instrument, or Internal Carrier to synthesise vocoder sound. The External Carrier stereo inputs can be used, or use/mix the Internal oscillator (which includes basic waveforms such as Pulse, Saw, Tri, Sub and Noise), to vocode the Modulator inputs. The Internal Oscillator can also be used as a simple Oscillator (it can be processed by the Vocoder) and as part of a vocoder (internal carrier) for fast results without the need to create any external Carrier device in Reason’s rack. ReVoicer is a modern stereo Vocoder with internal oscillator, limiter and spectrum frequency control. It allows for a lot of vocoder variations in order to create unique Vocoder textures for any vocal or instrument sound.
This one looks super interesting & the price is right, but I can't get past that cluttered, dark GUI... I'm gonna have to test it tonight!

I normally would be skeptical about new vocoders, since they all do the same. But in reality they often sound different. IF someone is for vocoders, i guess its worth trying and the modulation possiblities on the back are quite interesting.
I wanted to check if those little frequency bands can be changed or modulated in any way (like in BV512), but the manual is not yet available:

I immediately thought of Intergalactic's (almost identical) sound TOO!!!
But even a Fat Boy Slim song had an intro with that vocoder sound "à la Kraftwerk".
Superb.
Tonight I try the trial because for me ... it's yes!

this is not right though, not a vocoder was used: 'The Soulsonic Force used a Vocoder in their hit Planet Rock as early hip-hop artists in 1982.'

on the product page: it states there are combi patches
are these combi1 patches that can be used with R10?
can all the patches be used in R10?

Hi. REVOICER is a Instrument device. You must find it in Instruments section.
Included patches is Combinator 1.0 patches.
REVOICER v.2.0 based on last SDK 4.3.0, users can load this REs in Reason version from 10.1 and newer.

Some users ask to reset TRIAL of ReVoicer, to test v.2.0.
Its already happen now.
Everybody, who already trial previously ReVoicer, now can use new trial for this RE.
