Frame CV Generator...didn't even know about it.

Anybody say anything good or bad about Speo Music's Frame CV Generator? I wasn't even aware of his existence until late last night.

I currently use Europa for my CV curve needs. I have a few other tools and they often lack some functionality. Never needed such devices, same for ducking devices.

i dont know about newtrol but it is similar to shape. its an intuitive interface for 6 parallel but individually customisable scaleable envelope or LFO

Cool...given a choice and assuming you didn’t have either which one would you personally go for?

I've trialed Shape, they really are super similar.
Shape has 5, Frame has 6, you draw them on both Frame and Shape, but Shape has a lot of generated shapes in there to use.
Not sure if Shape can be 1shot, like Frame can. Frame can loop tho, default mode is 1 shot.

I saw his synth too, looks cool, and for 9 bucks can't really go wrong there.
I have a lot more other shit I want to get before buying things like that one just for the lulz ;P

SideChain ReAction Enveloper is great for drawing in curvy envelopes and you can fire em off from a mdi kyboard in release/retrig or loop mode if you already have it.
I use kron for lfo's now as you can change the midpoint of the lfo in differnt directions to subltl change notes if attached to pitch or rhytmn if attacted to gate or frequency .It opens massive possiblitlies when modulating the speed or tape head position of a sample in grain or modulating the partials in Parsec. I'm becomming a cv nerd.. its awful.

I reckon if I understood it I would get lost in the cv rabbit hole too. Kron looks awesome. I just feel overwhelmed by that amount of power. Same with PSQ...I usually just end up connecting cables at random like spaghetti and still get cool noises coming out the other end
