Digital fuzz sounds awful. Analog all the way for me. :)

Haha! Right on! Sorry if I came across as harsh but that’s my two cents. I’m not a fan of digital overdrive either. I think the only company that could maybe make a nice sounding digital fuzz would be Synapse.

I'm looking for something that just does fuzz, but does it extremely well...like the kuassa fuzz, but different.

Digital fuzz. Nah. Not here at least. Remember having some Yamaha digital rack multi-effect at the start of the 90s. Not good. Also had a Zoom pedal for about 5 minutes. Not good. Analogue. Preferably germanium. That said, I do like the Kuassa ha ha :).
Here’s a picture of one I built myself. I’m particularly fond of the blue LED :).

It's cool...IDGAF, as long as things sound good! Got a good sounding impulse of a trash can? I'll use it.

Love my dyi pedals of Zvex clones from tayda electronics:

Super HardOn (zvex clone) / cool booster
http://www.taydakits.com/instructions/super-hard-on

Fuzz Factory (zvex clone)
http://www.taydakits.com/instructions/fuzz-factory

and also One Knob Fuzz

Nice, Imagine an RE with a few circuits and components, that you could mix a match. Or, maybe more realistic... an RE that is able to mix and match clipping stages and tone stacks. Like a Tubescreamer tone stack with a Big Muff clipping stage.

Ha ha. :). Actually sometimes, for some reason, the volume jumps up double unexpectedly. Deafening wall of sound which makes me smile. Some lucky short circuit somewhere.

Faturator!!! Is great for distortion and fuzz. Probably not the most in-depth option but a great quick alternative to scream4

I for one am simply shocked that a digital effects box from nearly 30 years ago could possibly sound less than convincing...

Someone did mentioned this one here?
https://www.propellerheads.com/shop/rac ... n/futzbox/

And here is the math for the Fuzz. Should be easy to recreate a basic one:
