If anyone would like to create such an Audio Merger device, I’d definitely buy it. Basically what I’d want is 4x of Reason’s Spider Audio Merger, but just the merge portion. One must: needs to be a “unity gain” device like Reason’s Spider.

Blamsoft’s Audio Merger from their Polymodular System comes closer, but it’s 4 banks of 4-in to 1-out. Chaining these blocks works, but cable management... it’s messy.

HaMu’s MxSplirger comes to mind. It can do up to 24:1 and is free on the PropShop. Great device, as is everything from HaMu.

Unless I’m looking at the wrong thing, that’s CV only.

Why not use build in Mixer 14:2 device?

I need something fool proof, 100% no controls to guarantee unity gain.

Using Blamsoft’s Audio Merger or 4x of Reason’s Spider Audio Merge will work, but it’s one hell of a messy solution.

I'll throw something together for you. 16 stereo inputs, right?

Yeah, 16 should be enough. Throw it up in the Prop Shop and I’ll definitely buy it for $9.

Mordred can do 16 in to 1 out ("Stripe") and it's free. https://www.propellerheads.com/shop/rac ... ss-merger/

I need something dumbed down as possible, without any sort of control on it. What’s passing through it is a digital audio signal that can’t have a single bit modified in any way.

Jiggery does not lie. Mordred is literally the thing you wanted. Simply view the "Stripe" button as the "enable" button and you have the 16>1 that you want.

no pan and no level to worry about. minimize it if you want to be absolutely sure not to mess it up.

free.

This is something I’m going to recommending people use with a suite of VST’s that have to be merged (without any modification), and directed straight out to an external stereo output.

Accidents happen, so such a device absolutely can NOT have any sort of control on it, as accidents can happen. It MUST be fool proof, and if that needs to be paid for to get it, then it’s worth it.

This. Plus it’s extendable.

Won’t work. See my responses above as to why.

Why? You don’t need to change anything. The signal is being summed untouched.

Its a digital signal that’s coming out of these VST’s, not a standard audio signal, so any sort of analog emulation or any sort of tone change could possibly corrupt the signal.
