Not sure if this Rack Extension has been discussed before, but I wanted to give a shout-out to the developers. I noticed a bug with 1/2 measure timing (it went out of sync with the tempo) and just a couple of days after contacting the developers, they had added a beta version to my account which fixed the problem. I also made a feature request which was also implemented, and which made the device work exactly how I needed.
On the face of it this is a pretty standard step sequencer, but what makes it interesting is that it has CV output and input for pattern selection. This means you can have one Grid64n device sending out CV signals to other Grid64n device(s) to make embedded groups of patterns. This is a really nice feature which is missing from every other step sequencer I found (and also from Matrix). The feature request I made was that when a Grid64n was slaved to another device for its pattern selection, it was impossible to manually change the pattern. This meant that if you wanted to edit the pattern, you had to disconnect the CV cable, make the edits, then reconnect it. The developers have made it so you can click a button on the RE interface to override the slaving of the pattern and manually change the scene to make edits.

Edit -
The [rackextension] tags don't seem to work, so I've just put a link.
Edit 2 -
The updated version isn't available in the Prop shop yet. The current version in the shop is 1.0.2, so if you're interested in using this RE, keep your eyes peeled for 1.0.3. Or just use 1/4 timing and double the steps for now.
Grid64n monophonic sequencer
Thanks antic604, but as I said in the OP, I've already been in contact with them and they have resolved the issue. I'm just posting to give the devs some visibility due to their great service!antic604 wrote: ↑13 Nov 2018I don't recall seeing the dev around, so maybe try http://retouchcontrol.com/support/
