Well, I might as well enter the contest with this. Pure 80's B movie soundtrack.

Woo! I love these challenges! It's so fun to hear and learn what everyone does with Maia and other synths/effects/mixing/programming.
Anyway, this is my entry for the Maia Song Challenge! :reason: :reason:

Hey, my first attempt to a song challenge, here she is:

I really enjoyed working with this synth, only the hihat and crash comes from the factory sound bank, the rest is all Maia!

Here's my entry.

Maia is pretty great! I didn't have too much time on this one so wound up using a lot of the presets, which were pretty inspiring! It's easy to tweak though when you want to dig in. Fun challenge and good distraction to a weird week. Synths are all Maia, drums are Kong, reason banks. Vocal is mine.

Hey there, I'm not submitting my entry. I don't like what I've done so far, and It's not in a state I'd like to share lol. Still, I had a lot of fun using Maia and just wanted to say thanks for organizing the competition, keep them coming! They're great for practicing, setting goals and focusing on a specific project!

I agree these competitions are good for setting goals, I had to really crunch to get mine done and am not happy with everything.

Well good luck to all, it's been a blast!

Thanks man, I enjoyed your song as well (the very first entry).
I wanted to completely shift gears from the direction I have been going with music the last few weeks and this RE suited my new direction well. Not much sound design needed when there are so many good presets (perk of a rompler).

Thank you for selecting my song as the second place winner. I feel honoured in the midst of all of the other great entries. There was a wide variety of songs that came out of this device. I look forward to making more songs with MAIA in my rack. :-)

Congrats! The winners each did a really good job showing what Maia could do.. great tracks too! Enjoyed listening to the entries, and it was as fun contest. As with a lot of these contests, it really also made me want the synth! ;)

Hey! Very cool to see this!
Looks like I am a little late to the celebration... but I made it! :D
Thank you so much for choosing my track.
Once I downloaded the trial for this RE I knew I had to have it..
I would have paid $$ for it but I suppose getting it works just as well

Thanks again <3
