Scales and Chords
Hi...is there any way to play a 3 note chord where I run the root note down in a progression but keep the other two notes of the chord the same for the whole progression. i.e root note progression goes C B Bb A but the other two notes stay on Eb and G. I'm guessing it's got something to do with Custom but I've been trying all morning and can't get my head round it. Or should I RTFM instead?

I am not the muscial theory specialist, but S&C cannot hold specific notes. Maybe there is a very fiddly way to do this, but nothing for daily business.
But what i can imagine is, that playing a different progression holding specific notes may represent different chords or scales. So maybe changing the settings in S&C while playing your progression give you the expected chords. But this would also require fiddly trx if you do not want to adjust it live.
One simple solution could be, to have a duplicated synth with each its own S&C attached within a Combinator. Bothe synths have different note areas where they play their own chords. Thus can allow you to hold the two notes, while you play others.
I am curious, what others may think

Ha ha . Thanks. I guess it’s so fiddly I’d be quicker just learning how to play the piano instead :):).Loque wrote: ↑19 Jun 2018I am not the muscial theory specialist, but S&C cannot hold specific notes. Maybe there is a very fiddly way to do this, but nothing for daily business.
