the only plugin that scratches that itch is Rayzoon Jamstix—and it’s great, but can’t be used in Reason until they allow VST MIDI, and it’s got a fairly steep learning curve.

ah, fair enough. I was under the impression RND did some kind of MIDI generation of its own, but it sounds like I’m wrong about that.

No, you're right, RND can do MIDI generation and randomization of incoming notes, but in this case only probability, pitch and velocity can be modified. That's why I recommended Note Humanizer instead.

and thanks for that tutorial. I’ll check it out. would be nice to actually finally get some use out of Jamstix, for once.
