Dear community,
I sadly has to pronounce that Håkan Müller, creator of the HAMU Rack Extensions passed away on May, 24.
He suffered from ALS since 3 years and finally lost the fight.
RIP, Håkan

Agreed. He seemed to have such a gently wicked sense of humour.

Purple RE's should be compulsory from now on in his honour.

Sad news and sadly not the first RE dev to pass away - but his spirit will live on in people's racks, that's a nice thought.

Sad news. Condolences to his friends and family. It made me smile to see the purple shirt in the photo

I remember when he stepped down from his RE business and handed it over to another person, with the announcement of his illness. Sorry to hear that he lost the battle. But I am happy that his pain and suffering may have come to an end. He was a very nice man, in all the interactions I saw him engaged in. Always respectful to others and helpful when he could be. RIPurple!

Get the original ModPanels in resplendent Purple. They are functionally Identical.

The Newtrols only came about for those that objected to the Purple.

It's a testament to his sense of humour, as I mentioned earlier in the thread that he charged more for the identical (except in colour) black versions. (Newtrols).
