Those that have Propulsion, how can I make 1 bar with the following elements?
Lane 1 - Kick on 1/4 notes
Lane 2 - Snare on every other 1/4
Lane 3 - Hat on 3/16 then every 1/4 after
Lane 4 - Percussion hit on 6/64 and 60/64
I can set up Lane 1, 2 and 3 ok, but really struggling with how to introduce lane 4 at the correct timings, and Propulsion only has 32 steps. I cant seem to alter the Div Rate to get it to do what i want

If I'm not mistaken, 6/64 is the same as 3/32 and 60/64 is the same 30/32, so I think you should be fine with 32 steps!graeme75 wrote: ↑05 Jan 2018Those that have Propulsion, how can I make 1 bar with the following elements?

Thanks, Maybe that was a bad example
What if I wanted 5/64 or 17/64? What I cant seem to work out is how to make a whole 1 bar 64 step pattern. If i set the resolution to 1/64 as there is only 32 steps does that mean Propulsion is only displaying 1/2 a bar (32/64). How can I view a 1 bar 64 step pattern within Propulsion and not have to chain 2 patterns together, is it possible?
Cheers

Nope, 32 steps is the limit. BUT... You could still achieve your example of 5/64 and 17/64 in sort of a roundabout way: There are repeat settings for each lane (the REPT curve), where you can set each individual step to repeat itself from 1-8 times. You could use that to extend the duration of some of the empty steps so you get 64/64 in total.graeme75 wrote: ↑05 Jan 2018Thanks, Maybe that was a bad example

So in your example, you could program hits on step 5 and 17, and leave the rest of the steps empty. In order to fill out from 32 to 64 steps, you need to add a total duration of 32 steps to the end of the pattern. You can add 7 "extra repeats" to each step, which means that 4 steps will have a repeat count of 8 (adding a duration of 7 x 4 = 28), and another step would have a repeat count of 5.
Not a super-smooth solution of course, but it works.
