The Equila look really nice! I've been in the market for a smaller eq which still offers a display so I'll have to test this one out :) Overall I sort of wish there was a more pleasing consistency between the GUIs but I guess they wanted every device to stand out as its own thing.

I love the little oscilloscope on Punisher. That would be cool as an RE on it's own. Still hanging for a really cool oscilloscope RE for analyzing CV & audio signals. LabOne looks to be half way there with this neat little visualizer.

Is there a relationship between the ZPlane Morphing Filter and the Z plane filters of EMU samplers ?

You don't like any of these options?

Have to admit I'd completely forgotten about the CVA-7 CV Analyzer! The Lectric Panda ones are okay. But I'd really like it if you could get more detail & control over what you see. Not sure if it's possible. Be cool if you could lock down to a single cycle on the display - a bit like how the little scope on the Korg Minilogue works. Saying all this, there are plenty of VST options out there i'm sure. So it might be a moot point.

Sorry to veer of topic :? It's great to see LabOne back in the RE fold. Not seen anything for a while. Good to see they are still around ;)

It is not too much of an ask for people or things to be the best version of itself!

There are similarities for sure. E-MU's Z plane filters had their action based on the same filter type having two frames (frequency, resonance and gain for EQ mode) and then interpolate between them. Our Zplane allows to go one step further to incorporate a different filter type at either end of the morph, so LPF to HPF or BPF into Notch. E-MU also had a maximum of 7 filters in a 'snapshot' at most. Red Queen has a 10 band ZPlane mode, while Zplane is a singular strip so you can have both options (if you have Red Queen for full on filter morphing vs a quick and easy and also modular method with the 19in ZPlane)

We have an E5000 in the Lab too :D

Hope this answers your question

You know it makes sense.... :D we changed our internal fan and got an IDE to SATA mini card converter + Laptop drive instead of the floppy disk, and managed to install the classic SATA card for the EMU too.... good times :D

After using Punisher for a little while now, I must say it's exciter is superb! It is incredibly easy to dial in, and I think it sounds really great.
