Parsec question/thought

So Iv been using parsec2 a lot recently and was wondering why the phase sync, when turned off makes the sound almost distorted with some of the additive wavetables for example FM noise. It has its use when making basses. But the phase button doesn’t seem to do what you would assume, when making unison sounds it doesn’t make that weird laser sound? Or it’s not as prominent as in other synths. And just a random idea for parsec. It would be cool to see it have FM between the two sound generators. Or if it had a hidden sine wave that would modulate the generators like expanse’s FM modifier (the older one) I know Reason has its share of FM all around but if parsec has FM I’d almost always use it. It’d be cool to see if that’s possible some way or how.
