Yes, thanks a lot for the free update!

My favourite feature so far is the (per-oscillator) spectral EQ. It's an awesome soundshaping tool and is much easier to use than the one in Parsec (because of the curve editor).

Here's a byproduct of tonight's beta testing session. It's a flute patch that uses the new cross oscillator modulation (osc1 is ring modulated by osc2, which plays a noise wavetable that is being shaped with the spectral EQ).

The new features seem properly optimized. The patches I made so far only required one bar of DSP for 8 voices / 3x unison (on an i7 4770).

The EG in Editor mode can also be used as a stepper, which most of the Pattern presets demonstrate.

Is/will the fm from oscillator to oscillator be done via the mod matrix? Or only a designated modifier

FM is a designated modifier.

One last question, will the different versions of the beta be posted on this thread or should we just keep randomly syncing

I would prefer that you just sync before you start using Reason.

Awesome. Expanse is the one RE synth I really wish I had in VST form...so I could use it in Logic and not just Reason.

Really looking forward to 3.0. Good luck with the beta!
Cosmopolis, out now: : https://timeslaves.bandcamp.com/album/cosmopolis! Check out the first single, "City Lights:

You just made a 4 operator morphing FM synth out of Expanse! It's great! Nothing on the market does this!

I think I like rewire better tbh.
Reaper & Reason just give me a combo that makes me like "I'm done now"

Introducing Expanse 3.0!

Expanse 3.0 will be a free upgrade for owners of Expanse.
This Synth is a Beast!
And every Reason owner should own it - ESPECIALLY at the sale price on right now!

https://shop.propellerheads.se/product/ ... nthesizer/
.

"Last until the Xth" means throughout that date. The sale ended the 13th, not the 14th.

Wow that is fine news about the envelopes even if Europa/Grain does not ship with the requested same features at least there is eXapnse to be called upon again. To good to be true what's the catch? :D

One thing though will this version be compatible with 9.2/9.5 or is it 10 only?
It is not too much of an ask for people or things to be the best version of itself!
