The demo sounds sounded amazing! Unfortunately it seems to be Reason 9 only. :( Sad panda.
Good luck everyone! Enjoy making music!

Thanks! I kept getting such crazy sounds from it. I could have made my track an hour long if I hadn't stopped myself.

Here it is...Some experiments with the synth, a bit trashy and distorted. Sounds from Arkana, drums are from FSB.
I used 2 samples from xclusivedrum/FX section in Arkana. Not sure if this was allowed. If not, skip this track. If it was allowed, please add it.

Has anyone figured out how to hook up sustain pedal to do its thing with Arkana? I'm mildly annoyed by Resonans and now Arkana seemingly not caring about pedal messages. I'm only now getting into this synth. It's a different beast all right, and will probably take some time to learn the intricacies.

Here's my entry into the basket. My first idea was more of an ambient, second turned out synthwave, but this third iteration I thought might have legs for this challenge. (Don't get me wrong, I'm keeping the synthwave idea for later, it turned out pretty good.. :) Just not that good a showcase for the synth in question. )

How did everybody find this synth? I found it hard to make my own samples that sound good on this. Aliasing seemed to be a problem (which I totally exploited in my entry track, so no sweat). Also tuning was surprisingly not that simple, after moving the speed and length knobs I had to summon a Neptune for a tuning meter with the pitch knob to get back on track. A lot of the time my patches just sounded sharp and nasal, but occasionally I did stumble upon a nice evolving texture. Oh, and the lack of sustain pedal functionality drove me crazy, not used to that at all. I did like the LFOs though, nice range and selection of waveforms, including my personal fav S+H. Also it was very gentle on the CPU, never had to spare a thought on that.

In case I have messed up with timezone adjustment , has it finished please ??

It's the EST /EDT adjustment plus BST /UT which has me worried .

I cannot imagine what I have to worry about really : half an hour is not going to make a difference to my effort . from the handful i have listened to so far there is evidence of some solid productions, with some terrific sound design , It is a synth which appears simple to operate however in my experience editing can yield unpredictable results. In the end I settled for a mixture of sounds including factory presets , with their modulation edited.
