Nice to see, that Reveal Sound has really integrated all features from the VST. All fx, stepper, ARP, EQ and last but not least the X-Comp.
It is all very small, but I can live with that. And with all the 13 tracks running the cpu meter is some where in the middle, which is a good sign.

My thoughts exactly, it's incredibly close to the original!

OH LORD!

So excited for this, wonder if we are able to load presets from vst versions :)

Apparently they only need to rename the second OSC2 to OSC4 and they are done lol.

Yes, and rename the "FX Rever" in FX Reverb ;-)

The fact that even the GUI/UX is branded "Preview Edition" in the upper right corner speaks volumes about their attention to detail. They may take their sweet time, but it looks like they're hammering out a nice port!

I wonder if they make the fx available for use with other devices in Reason (if that is even possible). The reverb in Spire is one of the nicest, if not the nicest reverb i ever hear in a VSTi.

Agreed. If they don't include audio input for the effects pass through at least, it would be a huge missed opportunity. If they're going to be charging owners of the VST full price for the RE, they most certainly need to add features unique to Reason. Between CV control and audio input, that would help.

Never used the VST of this (the last VST I used was GForce's ImpOSCar 2) but I'm excited for this just on the strength of the positive things people have to say about it. I'm also reading it's something of a 'classic' VST synth so great to see a soft synth that's held in such high regard ported to the RE format. Exciting times ;)

The mod matrix isn't small; it's just that all the other controls are still clown-sized like in the original pre-alpha teaser months ago. :?

I guess at this point this means they aren't going to be scaling the rest of the UI to look like a normal Reason device. An unfortunate decision, but at least it looks like they're doing a fine job with everything else.

I actually prefer the larger controls like it is. I know it feels big in Reason's rack, but its large controls are one of the things that makes it fun to use in VST-land. Even in these preview videos, I don't think it looks bad. Sure, it make look out of place compared to Thor or Papen's Predator RE, but... eh - I don't mind.

..just out of curiosity - could the :re: -version be able to import those soundlibraries they have made for Spire VST?
Would be nice to use those Trance- and 90s-libraries :)

Please don't get me wrong guys... I do think, that all effort in RE development should be appreciated and supported, but...

I don't know the original VST, but the sound/synth-use of the demo song doen't sound too impressive to me.
I guess there's much more to it!?

We're hoping Reveal Sound will provide a patch converter for their libraries->RE format. I would imagine they do, as they have a massive aftermarket library shop that they promote (since Spire is literally their only product).
