Well, if GForce continue their rate of releasing REs, we'll see this in 2022  .

The real question is !

How do you get such a Sweet sound from Re-Strings ' WITHOUT USING ZERO CPU EVEN WHEN PLAYING FULL CHORDS ????

A Maximus Stringus Remus Machinus Musthavus :puf_bigsmile:

Great Re-Strings, G-Force & one that has been long awaited IMO especially when there is little to no CPU Damage control !

Just found a bug:

1. Create a RE-Strings in the Rack. It opens with the Init Patch playing ARP Quadra/ Phased Strings in Layer A leaving Layer B empty.
2. Play and hold a note. For my ears it sounds one octave too low.
3. Keep on playing the note and slowly turn the tune knob of Layer A down to -12. The pitch first jumps up 11 semitones and when reaching -12 it's exactly the same pitch as at the beginning.
4. Turn tune back to 0 and the pitch is now as it should be (IMHO).
5. Layer B shows the same behaviour.

I agree 100% i sent on to GForce but perhaps you should do the same to check the differences in operating system

I'm hearing clicks on notes held for a long time as a chord and it's not DSP as nothing showing..anyone else? That aside to have anything new from Gforce in the rack is fantastic and the sounds are top drawer. Bring on ImpOscar2 now :D

Just when I think I have all the Rack Extension I could possibly want (I've already probably gone way over what I actually need.. LOL) I get pulled back in.

same here, it's really very tempting and I just told myself to only get another RE when I'm using what I have more

Really, really pleased to see a new RE from GForce. Is there still a hope now for ImpOSCar? Been holding out for that since RE's launched & GForce showed up as a developer.

Bought this and tried it, and , no offence meant to the makers, but I'm trying to get my money refunded.

Maybe just me, but everything sounds the same on it.

I was wondering about the differences between Re-Strings and VSM/Exp, so here's a quick comparison...

Sorry for sounding like an a-hole, but maybe next time try first and then buy?

Well we all mess up sometimes. Good luck with the refund. Hope it works out.

I'm lovin it. At last ReTron has a companion in the rack. I see this one as a high quality niche device, a bit like J-P's Combo Electric Harpsichord. Great stuff
