Thanks Noel and DNA Labs for this new challenge. awesome stuff!!
Really loving the sounds this synth has to offer. Portamento and mono mode would be a nice addition or maybe i am just overlooking it?

It says Reason Factory drums are allowed...does this mean we can use Kong / Redrum / NNXT with the factory drum samples?

For instance, can I take a factory 808 bd sample, and use the nnxt to pitch it?

I made a quick transpose into a ready arrangement, I quite like the result, very good base sounds.

This Synth is awesomely wide... I went deeper with this song, and I had to stop adding layers upon layers, but the spectra really allows it. Great Synth.

So, what do you people think about it's GUI??
I don't feel like using this because how it looks.

I agree.
The design is somewhat off-putting.
Sure, as soon as you are used to the controls, it doesnt matter so much anymore. But when first exploring it, an inviting GUI is kind of important.
Even a plane black backgound would be more inviting.

Sound-wise it's a good addition to Hydronexius, however I prefer the old device's presets...

Hi!

Superb contest. And really superb RE!

And Question #1 - Is the Remark RE allowed? It is silent RE and helps a bit in keeping clean. So? :)

Hugz,

I agree that splitting the X1/2/3/4 all over is really annoying, when trying to edit a sound you need to select each section individually, It would be much better if there was just one X/Osc selector that would highlight for all section at once, the way is implemented is time consuming and unintuitive.
Maybe a Global sync X button could help

"Any Factory Sound Bank drums and/or samples, but not drums and/or samples from external plug-ins."

Can we use drums from another sample pack (not FSB)? I assume no but it's not clear.
Producer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist. I make indie pop as Port Streets, 90s/shoegaze as Swooner, and Electro as Yours Mine.
