Blamsoft and eXode VK-2 Viking Synthesizer Song Challenge
Okay here's mine:
Cosmopolis, out now: : https://timeslaves.bandcamp.com/album/cosmopolis! Check out the first single, "City Lights:
Vocals from my good friend Rick still have some obvious problems but with the deadline, fighting the dreaded 'Bad Format' error will leave me standing at this point. Had to sneak in more guitar at end too, sorry Vk-2 just inspires some complimentary guitar imho.

I used FSB samples for all the drums, since the rules were unclear and I had already finished most of the work on this before finding out otherwise. It was a good exercise to work solely with FSB drum samples again, haven't done that in a while
The deadline is tomorrow night, so there's still a bit of time!Re8et wrote:I guess this is it, deathline struck! Good luck everyone!

This is a very nice track showcasing the strengths of VK-2. Could be one of the demotracks.esselfortium wrote:

All sounds you hear are from VK-2 (29 to be exact).
The only samples in this project are my voice that's mangled by routing it through VK-2.
Also the unprocessed kick and snare audio from VK-2 are sampled and copied throughout the track.
Mainly because the osc phase does not retrigger (well it's a modular based synth ).
