:O

and of course, this looks really good and i should update to 9 as soon as possible...
I'm not sure it allows you to upgrade if you are still on version 8. If you are currently running Reason 8 and running PSQ 2.0, that will continue to work.
It allows everything but he will encounter some errors on loading Reason so he must update after that. I experimented personally

I'm loving version 3 but really feel the need for that manual. Comparing version 3 to the earlier versions I would say it's like the amphibious car just got equipped with wings. Good job!

That would be good. ReasonExperts did an excellent 4 part tutorial when this first appeared. But obviously it's evolved a fair bit since then. Would be good to have some videos for the new version.

While we're still waiting for the manual, am I right in thinking you can no longer randomise just the Sequence Data values (i.e. the W1 to Z8 knobs)? You could do this in version 2 and I found it really useful. Now the only way I can figure out how to do it is to randomise the entire patch, which obv isn't a great way to go. Any chance of bringing this function back?

You can do it row wise.
Click on the wrench and the last entries in the context menue deal with the row value settings (Row W, Row X, Row Y, Row Z, All Rows). There you can
randomize or set fixed values as in the earlier version.

How do the Drum Pattern pulses work?

I understand that there are different patterns placed onto a grid but is there any connection or relationship between the different patterns on the grid and there placement? or is it random?

Also in the manual it states that patterns can be faded with their neighbour patterns, how does this work? I think im having a really stupid moment understanding the example

just have to say this device has given me a lot of fun over the past few weeks, so much so that I have purchased before my trail ran out.

I would love to get hold of the updated manual as there are features removed from the back panel 'xor , keyb split ' and a load more added to the front 'mod matrix' I would like to read about.

I do have a feature request though, can you enable a chain in series rather than just parallel.

The drum patterns are based off mutable instruments grids
http://mutable-instruments.net/modules/grids

The placement is random on the grid. There is a unique pattern at each whole number grid location, like 3,5 would be a pattern. There is another unique pattern next at 4,5. As you move from one to the other 3,5 -> 3.1,5 -> 3.2,5 -> 3.5,5 -> 3.9,5 -> 4,5 You would get a crossfaded blend of those patterns.

Apologies for the delay in the manual, have to finish it up soon. All the features removed from the back were relocated to an options menu on the front panel.

Could you elaborate on what you mean by chain in series vs parallel ? Not sure what that is.

Thank you!

Request: As feature packed as this device already is, it still would be sweet if we could mute (and solo) individual pulses. Smallish buttons within each square of the pulse grid would do the trick.

Q) Is there anyway to modulate the velocity of a pulse

PSQ #1 set at 128 step count sync rate 1/16 produces a length of 8 bars
PSQ #2 set at 32 step count sync rate 1/16 produces a length of 2 bars

running PSQ #1 and at the end of the count trigger (Start) on PSQ #2 causing a 2 bar (Stop) on PSQ #1 while PSQ #2 completes its step count then (Start) PSQ #1.
