The RE2A IS in the giveaway!! (ENDED)
I figured since I signed up before the RE was an option that it was a no go. I have it in my account but hadn't yet installed the VST or activated it. I wrote Cakewalk support and within 12 hours they confirmed that they would make it available to me for Reason. I provided my username and email address of my Props account, and I am good to go. They did say they are doing these in batches so it might take a few days. I am really glad I asked for this as I have wanted this RE for some time. Thanks Cakewalk!
Much Kudos to Cakewalk here who seem to be going the extra mile on this even down to individually answering emails and making sure that everyone here can get on board. Man, there's plenty of firms out there that don't show this much care even when you've bought products from them.
I'm very impressed and grateful too.

Bonkhead wrote:My small 1st world problem:
Tried to register my propellerhead user email for the Cakewalk account.
Did not receive a confirmation email (checked spam folders and filters).
Tried another gmail account, which worked fine.
Created a Cakewalk account, entered Reason as my DAW and got a (vst ?) license via the cakewalk command centre.
Emailed Cakewalk support with my story.
Waiting like the rest.
Edit: answer from Cakewalk support, they only need the emailadress from the form which I use for my pheads account, so I might be ok afterall

I didn't get an email, but it's sitting in my RE list on the Props site!
If you ain't hip to the rare Housequake, shut up already.

They have email forms on their website

I couldn't find their address. Am I missing something? It's asking for me to sign into my cakewalk account, but I have no cakewalk account.joeyluck wrote:They have email forms on their website

I got mine. Thank you to this thread. Didn't even know the giveaway was going on until yesterday. Then I got a very nice email from Sarah (from Cakewalk support) stating, Cakewalk sent my details to Propellerhead and now got my FREE copy of RE-2A.
Got mine too without any trouble. I had no real need for a virtual LA-2A, but why would I refuse a freebie? Very nice move from Cakewalk regardless!

I gotta say that I've wanted this RE for some time now but never pulled the trigger. Kinda felt a little slighted that Cakewalk didn't put it on sale even when other RE devs would offer Black Friday or Christmas promos and yet still Cakewalk would never participate in discounting at all.
Now to actually have both the VST/RE given to users for free is simply awesome on their part.
Thanks again!
