Yeah right, normen. It's 2,2 GB of download.
The first attempt didn't work. Then I removed the RE in Authorizer, and I installed 2.9.1. With Authorizer 2.9.1 the download and installation were sucessful. But still the error message occured.

I got a reply by e-Instruments, and I sent them several informations. They forwarded it to PH.
Let's wait and see what the Props say.

Did you do a disk check? I have it installed both on a MacBook and on a Windows PC and it works fine here. The bigger the file the more chance is that small disk corruptions that otherwise don't cause issues do with that file.

Someone on fb updated to 8.3.2 and suddenly it worked.
Havent tried the RE yet but hope it works out fine somehow.
The RE demo sounds lovely.

The Ujam IDT is based on NNXT technology. It is more versatile in the sense that you can feed it with .NKS patches but essentially its a scripted nnxt.
IDT has nothing to do with NNXT. Not sure where you got this from.

I notice a lot of rumble noises in the 5th octave range on patches like Sustain and Filmscore. Doesn't sounds smooth enough imo.

Not yet but I received an email from e-Instruments today that "the problem is fixed and a new version should be available today".

Well it looks like it received an update. Possible that the price was accidentally changed with the update.
But it shows $99 when both logged in and out for me.

Something must have alerted them of the error.

I wonder who did that :puf_wink:

The "Runtime error when creating device" bug is fixed with version 1.0.175! :)
But it still shows €99,00 for me.
I'll definetely want to buy it. Sounds great! Maybe I'll wait 'til the next xyz sale...

I watched all the videos, this is really impressive.. I just think it would be a good idea for someone with this devs expertise to do this sort of product with real legato scripting, but for solo strings..Don't you think? NNXT can't do real legato so..nor can it do fancy scripting.. that's what IDT is for and string libraries (well orchestral in general incl brass/winds) are what it excels at, as this product proves (finally!). I also hope they do release their pro version (included in komplete ultimate) as an RE, which has a larger ensemble. For pop/rock/edm, this is flawless, but for real orchestral, it's not big enough (nor did they claim it was designed for that).. So yeah, guys, release a big ensemble version, and a version dedicated to solo strings.. in the meantime, i continue to be more and more impressed with this every time i watch the vids.. Probably the first "no matter what, every reason user simply must have this" RE instrument out there.. like the selig effects suite of RE's but for strings hehe :)

The $55 bug in the store is happening to me at the moment, though I've already bought StringWerk. It appears as $55, but the buy/download button says "free update". Perhaps the bug is related to one's update status.

Is the StringWERK the gold standard on how an IDT RE should be developed?

Hmm, .. I think at the very least it puts some people's concerns to rest on the capabilities of IDT and Rack Extensions.

Personally I didn't think the IDT would attract such a developer because of the lack of disk streaming. Sure we'll never see some of their bigger offerings, but just the fact they have created an offering is a major milestone for the format (IMO).

No issues here. Are you possibly running through other processing?

Not a gold standard but more like a display window for IDT. RAM is so cheap nowadays. Disk streaming was an answer for an old problem. We can't deal with 1TB RAM yet and that's unfortunate. I can't wait. :ugeek:

disk streaming may have been a solution for an old problem, but library developers, if they want to make money and not be overwhelmed with support nightmares can't make the assumption that everyone who might try their product has tons of RAM. so, unless we have disk streaming devs won't want to push the envelope. just the way it is.

I really want this RE, but not enough to pay for it again full price ( I already own the full Kontakt version) maybe if/when it goes on sale...

its a good news , to see some other Kontakt Dev on board but next time i prefer Devs spend more time on their Re before launch it on the Shops.
before the last update , 5 times i DL the Re , each times this crappy bug with runtime .
Now i can create device , load patchs .. play with it but i get others bugs like as "bad format" . ( i've try to DL 2 times , the bugs steel here ) .

i've other Huge IDT RE ( more 2-3 Giga ) and all work fine ...

Anyone else having trouble trialling this? Don't know if it's because I'm running a bit low on disk space but it gets to 2.1GB and then fails. I'd like to be able to relocate my RE's. I should look into that tbh. C: is so crammed!
