So, I just remembered that this synth is in the pipeline. The question is; How will sdk 2.5 affect the features? It was going to have re-sampling from audio inputs but now it makes more sense to be able to load samples directly? Or?

Pew-pew! They should re-name this place ReasonBantz. "Come for the Reason; stay for the Bantz".

I think it's fair to say that Spectra will not be released by mid 2016

Have you made any changes with the new SDK?

Two months ago James wrote that spectra hasn't gone into beta yet.
Does anybody know if that changed?

It certainly is dragging it's feet. Must be very CPU intensive lol!

And if the beta testing is anything like Reason, that will take a month will it not?

This isn't out yet ? Well atleast we can hope for some improvements from the SDK update without the additional upgrading fees that may have happened if it had already been released!

Guys. It's coming. Let's quit pestering this guy! He's working hard. He's making this the best he can. He's adding the SDK 2.5 functionality and is making this ambitious instrument more deeper then he first imagined it. It's coming! :)

LOL Its all good. It is what it is. The biggest challenge at the moment is finding the time to finish Spectra while working my demanding 9 - 5. I'm currently working on new functionality as a result of the new SDK and while I wish I could just work on this all day everyday, my demanding IT job leaves me maybe a few hours each night to work on it.

All in All I'm very much looking forward to finishing Spectra and I'm even glad that people are excited about the prospect of Spectra enough to crack a few jokes about it.
