Just as an aside, but with some genuine relation, I find that using a good harsh and snappy "over-zealous" gate can give fantastic results when looking for a damaged, broken sound, rather than an all out "I am a glitch/beat-chop plugin" vibe. My weapon of choice for this is currently G8 Dynamic Gate by Unfiltered Audio.

how do I make mystery downloads from downloading whenever I open a page on the proper 101 site on Mac... I hit allow downloads and it said I could disallow said downloads... but how... every page I try starts 3 or more downloads I did not ask for... can't even browse the site because of this. I disallowed in browser settings but it makes no difference EDIT> had to delete the site totally from preferences... once allowed you can't change it to ask if you want to download... if you do it still downloads... seems a bit worrisome for me... I did not even know what was attempted to be downloaded... kept deleting them as they came. So if I decide to download something there... it will do this again. Kind of weird behaviour if you ask me.Never saw that before like ever ! Seems someone has taken control of that page. I do not what to go to a page and it automatically starts downloading mystery files... Usually one picks what download one wants... not click on a page and get a minimum of 3 mystery downloads up to many downloads. Nope. Not for me.That is just plain dangerous.
