For me I think it would be between Lectric Panda, Jiggery-Pokery and Robotic Bean. Some fantastic devices from these this year.

Of course, I like all the guys you mention above, but I gotta give That Music Company a special shout. His devices sound excellent, are very good value even when they're not on sale, and the FREE(!) updates have greatly expanded his already awesome REs.

It is better if a reasontalk administor make a officail poll.

My votes goes to:

1. Electric panda (eventhough I didnt buy they devices yet)
2. Primal audio
3. Blamsoft

I vote for ScuzzyEye. I'm sure he'll have even more wonderful things to show in 2016, though. :D

Yep Blamsoft for me. Zero is still blowing my mind

Lectric Panda running a close second. Shape, Propulsion, Korde and that little 4-input Skope are getting a lot of use

Also a special mention for Skrock Music. Orbis and Nautilus are both excellent devices, elegant and functional and great sounding, at a great price. Looking forward to more

Blamsoft Zero represents the greatest RE achievement in 2015, imho.

Jiggery Pokery, Blamsoft and Robotic Bean. We are also lucky to have Rob Papen here. Probably should be mentioning more but that's just off the top of my head.

Special shout out to pongasoft for giving us their switch REs for free. Also a shout out to Softube for giving us Saturation Knob for free.

My other favorite developers of the year: Blamsoft, Robotic Bean and That Music Company.
Players are to MIDI what synthesizers are to waveforms.

Favorite: Rob Papen (also extra cred for offering discounts to RE owners moving over to VST/AU units)

Chip64 is probably my most used (although i have some complaints regarding basic playability stuff like mono/poly mode with retrig/legato and sustain pedal support, + some of the knobs are really unbalanced, like lfo width, for normal sounds only useful in the range of about 2-8% meaning its pretty annoying to tweak)

Unexpected but very often used, DCAM Env Shaper

For me it's JP - I bought two organs plus Cheneille plus a bunch of refills this year. So much love goes into his stuff, from the concept, to the UI to the wonderful patches to the manuals. Saving to pay some musicians for my recordings, otherwise i'd have the last two organs as well.
Producer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist. I make indie pop as Port Streets, 90s/shoegaze as Swooner, and Electro as Yours Mine.

  • Kuassa
  • Normen Hansen
  • Ochen K.
  • Peff
  • Primal Audio I/S

Some for the customer support and relationship;
Some for the overall product but most mostly sound quality;
Some for low CPU usage (while doing much);
Some for beautiful GUIs;
Some for attention to details and documentation;
Some for community dedication, low prices, or even free devices;
Some for imaginative, innovative and useful devices;
Some for prolific output (quantity of devices without compromising quality);
And some for many (if not all) of these criteria together
