I've never seen a need for Step Note with ABL3's built-in sequencer. I use ABL3's step record function and it works wonderfully for me. I even use it to sequence other things
I can understand though if some folks like to see all the steps on one screen, but I'm familiar with the 303 approach.

Speaking of REs that go great with ABL3, I am always using:

its usually $200 through the itunes store but when you click purchase in australia the price automatically goes up to $250 (and apple pay no tax in australia so fuck em) heres a screen shot from a tab i opened the other day (it will be followed by a screenshot from the app store 5 minutes ago so you can see what deceptive little rats they are lol)
