(I'm not sure whether this is supposed to go here or in the patches forum, I'll just put it here.)

I was messing about with the Zero a bit last night, and made a sort of Waveshaper Combinator for it that uses the Kong's FX section. You can feed the various modulation outputs of the Zero (LFO's, filter and amp env's) to the Kong's FX parameters for assorted warping/craziness. It's all laid out in a sort of modulation matrix that's hopefully self-explanatory. Every parameter of the kong's fx (bus P1, bus P2, master P1, master P2) has it's own controller lane. The first control is always a constant value, the default value of the control. All controls thereafter are bipolar controls (neutral=64) where you can add or subtract the Zero's various outputs from that parameter. You can also apply keyboard tracking and velocity tracking to each parameter.

In this patch I've used the Kong's overdrive in the bus FX and a HP filter in the master FX, but any combination of FX can be used.

Drawbacks:
-you can't automate some of the FX parameters (for example, you can't automate the drive parameter or the cab model in the overdrive) so you have to change them on the Kong.
-only works well with monophonic patches (basses, leads)

Just browse the different bass patches with the current setup to get an idea what it does. On some patches it helps to adjust the zero's output volume for the best results.
Any feedback / bug reports welcome!
Oh yeah, it uses some free rack extensions (CV8X4 control surface and CV line suite processor) so you'll have to download those to use it.
