That's exactly what I was thinking...Imagine if someone could build a hardware Rack set up with all the reason native device in hardware form,even third party devices !!? But instead of creating big and heavy devices,they could just have them be controllers using MIDI!? but instead of connect individual MiDI cables to each device, there could be a single MIDI in put on the Frame of the Rack it self.
