Hello chaps.
I've been playing around with Ochen K's lovely "Repeat" rack extension, and I'm having immense difficulty figuring out how to 'save' the resulting recordings to an audio track, (or bouncing them to a wav or whatever). I'm sure it's perfectly straightforward for a person of normal intelligence, but evidently I'm having a 'stupid' day and I'm totally bewildered. (Plus, I'm a guitarist - so I'm frequently confused by anything with buttons.)
Surely there must be some way of achieving this. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks!
Ochen K's 'Repeat': How does one 'save' the audio?
Actually is really easy
On the mix channel for repeat select the little red button "rec source"
Now create a new audio track/channel and click on the input select box (in the sequencer) and you will be able to select the repeat channel as a record source.
You can then jam away on the repeater while it records the audio out to a new channel in realtime.
Another way is to set a loop range for your song and go to the menu and select "bounce mixer channels to new tracks" or something close to that wording. It will open up a window and just select the tracks you want bounced, and set the range to loop length. This does it all quickly.
I don't own repeat so this method may not work with that RE but it should.
