As this is the developers thread, this convo ends here.

I didn't see the beta license in my product page. It looks like I didn't make the cut :'( It sounds pretty solid according to Jiggery's demo.  :s0221:

My opinion is that Propellerhead REASON needs a complete rewrite!
P.S: people should stop saying "No it won't happen" when referring to a complete rewrite of REASON. I have 3 letters for ya....VST

I just checked... didn't get an email yet!
Shouldn't the instrument be in our propellerhead account?

Seriously?! But this looks nice! And there is enough space between the controls for more than a cigarette paper!

First impression of  Hydronexius Worksation ROM RE Instrument I freaking Like it

Had to wake up in the AM before coffee and breakfast , props servers refused to let me download this last night :-(
But I really like the sounds on this instrument..not as deep in the features like Mixfood Orange..but it doesn't have to be at all! I sent the developer some small feedback and small feature request.Other then that I really like it.

It comes with tones of samples...but I want more..more..more...because I enjoyed what it has there so much....!! Good job on your first Rack Extension DNA Apocalypse !!!!! :t2018:

This looks a lot like nexus to me.. i have to say the GUI on the first page pic is absolutely stunning.. i love the colours and the easy to read layout.. again like nexus :) In fact this looks a bit better, like it borrowed the best nexus bits and made it classier.

Now if it sounds that good too, it will be something rather special. Can't wait to try it :)

I really like this Rompler :) I have so much fun to use it and made yesterday a short demo track with it and it is really easy to use, and this is important for me.

As others mentioned before, this a real cool Device. The biggest and most versatile rompler I have seen yet in the Shop. The Sound Design is very different to other Devices, this is very smart design and gives you really more and new Options. Congratulation to this from me.

good question, would like to know that also. If it's going to come with real quality content and like 1000 patches or something (like nexus type of thing) then the $149 price range would be more than fair IMO.. it just depends on how much content we are going to get - and - if the developer can add more with updates (does IDT allow this?)

Oh god dont say that. Thats the exact Reason i didnt buy antidote. I have every synth in Reason except the ones that cost a hundy. Out of my range like antidote.

as far as I am gathering, this is a rompler RE alternative to nexus (name and look give it away). Nexus is $299. Nexus has sold over 20 thousand copies (that was a couple years back, would be 25 by now easy). What makes Nexus awesome are the sounds included, as well as the amazing gate and arp patterns (which are editable) and top quality on board FX (arts acoustic among others). Basically every sound in nexus is ready to play and fit in your song.
I sort of went for around the half price range as Nexus is from a very well known dev and sound designer team, so I was just taking a guess for a new comer. That said it all depends on quality.. If the content included is actually as good as nexus, for real, then 149 would be a steal (and this is coming from someone who lives on a government pension so don't think I'm some rich snob or something).
If the content and amount of it is nowhere near nexus levels then it would depend on other things, like whether it will be able to take expansions in the future.. afaik right now it won't due to RE spec but the dev himself could add more and more content each update (maybe take polls and see what we want, styles, etc). OR - they could make specialised refills for it that only work with it (like any other refill for specific RE's) and in that sense actually do something like the nexus expansion system. What they can't do with refills is expand the onboard sample content. What they CAN do with refills is make them specifically for an update of the synth that has expanded sample content (for example, "bliss arps refill, requires hydronexius v1.1.2 and up".

Everything is going to depend on the included quality of samples, the included presets, and just how editable it is (nexus opened itself quite alot with latest versions). If it really does come out with over 1,500 sounds and they are all HOT, then i would pay 149 in a heartbeat.. If they go the other way and do say 256 sounds,  and in future offer refill expansion banks, then i would presume and hope it would be well under the 100 mark.

Quality sometimes costs money.. not always, but sometimes. I still can't find a replacement for nexus, whether re OR vst/au. It just rocks. If this turns out to be it we will all be very lucky believe me!

I for one can say that this re is going to be a huge success ,I know this because the sounds are high quality (I know because I'm a tester) and the gui is simply beautiful,..now it all depends on the price!

and I just wanted to know if any one knows the price for this up and coming giant? (the dev is yet to respond to my inquiry about the release price.)
I'm a Propellerhead for life!
