So, which is it supposed to be?

Currently when in the rack:

In the shop:

I agree the second is better. I could go with either the knobs, but the other stuff?

In the shop image, there are readouts for the effects, the volume, the 'note on' looks better (the current version in the rack literally flashes "NOTE ON" and is kind of annoying), the ADSR looks different (curve), and the browser is different. The text and lines on the device in the shop image is much more clear than the text on the device in the rack. Any ideas?

the mini project sam orchestra ensembles i have for live took my breath away, so i can only imagine these are AWESOME. I presume IDT is at play here?

However, reading the specs, what a missed opportunity to provide solo instruments!

I am surprised that they didn't check out the current reason portfolio and realise this was the biggest vacancy in the orchestral area at this time whether refill or RE.

Sadly you can't switch the styles via automation, didn't find a manual yet so I don't know if theres key switches but for an orchestral lib ist essential (imo) to be able to switch styles (staccato, legato etc.) during the performance.. :/ Also the "full orchestra" only allows playing preset chords, missed opportunity as well.

Very nice velocity response though, you can quickly come up with a general orchestra sound for cinematic tracks.

I am probably going to sound like a real Knob_Head here' but i really can't stand these Synth's that don't look anything like a Real Synth
I wanna twist some knobs & root stuff & slap some LFO in it , in_it ...... Nice sounds tho . . . but i guess i still better DUCK  :s0959:

What theshold and ratio do?

I notice that the Pic version has a scrolling bar and a folder, even though the list is not too long to have scrolling bar.

Thats because this is in no way a synth at all. This is a string library, and this is HUGE for the RE platform. WOW what a great day!

I wish I could save patches?

Dunno yet how I feel about the settings remaining static when browsing different instruments on the device...

Also, you can't browse without first loading the first instrument within a section.
When you select a category, it loads the first instrument in that category.

The browser in the shop photo looks different though...

So many questions :)

Took me a bit to figure out that the 'Full Orchestra' chords were key switched via velocity.

Also, are there inconsistencies in the velocities on instruments? For instance, the Brass Staccato seems to be missing layer(s) of velocity in the bottom octave...
