I sent email to them to ask if with the new SDK they will do their plugins as RE, But they said "I have to inform you that it is unlikely that we will develop for Reason at this time, since our resources are already spread quite thin. Maybe one day!"
It is too bad because Soundtoy plugins already look like RE.
By the time they decide to do RE will be too late, because right now there is many Filters and distortion RE, and the current developers are getting better.
SoundToys are nor planning to develop their products as RE
That's like saying, new plug-ins are useless because plenty of developers do X or Y already. Point taken, but I believe there never will be a point for new developers which can be considered "too late", if they deliver a quality product. SoundToys is pretty known so I doubt they would have issues, but I also believe they don't *need* to develop REs.
They didn't say "never".
