i think if you see how much they changed REQ131 in V 2.0 it's well worth it, Moneykube.

We always pay for an upgrade, but never for an update. 

Update are more for fix bugs or adding a minor function

Upgrade most of the time brings new major functions and new interface,
and this is a really upgrade.

I own a ReQ 131 but I don't think I will Upgrade

I think is worth it, but I do subtractive EQ. I don't need right now the new functionality.

I bought it in $9 (on sale) just because
I wanted a EQ with HP/LP as insert FX which m-class EQ doesn't have it.

I think it depends on how much you use it.

What really bothered me in the previous version was that I needed to click on every band
to make my adjustments. In version 2 you can draw your desired curve. For me it's a great benefit.
Additionally I like the new blend function.

I bought the upgrade and I don't regret it.

I can use almost 50 instances on my i7 3770, 2 years old. How many are you running ?

Sorry for late reply guy's ....

its not using that much more CPU ' that it is a problem for me .... but on an under powered Laptop ' one tend's to notice those little twitches !!!! 

MSI Dual core CR630 Only 2 gig of Ram '  :s0225: never the wee less i am still happy with the version 2 ... looks very cool.
