What is the nearest RE alternative?

Logic Pro X arpeggiator ...
Maybe not by itself, but there's CV inputs for both velocity and gate length so they're easily randomizable.softska wrote:RPG-8 can't randomize velocity and note length during playback, but it isn't missing much otherwise (haven't look at it for a while, don't kill me if I'm wrong)

True, Korde is much more powerful. RPG-8 is not an RE though.softska wrote:Korde is nothing like Logic's Arp, which is much closer to RPG-8 feature set. My wish is to play some chord with my MIDI keyboard and let Reason to generate rhytmic movements of this chord ( i.e monophonic AND polyphonic movements ). With Logic Arp is very handy to create suitable patterns, but Reason as environment is much better. I tried AutoArp and Korde so, but it seemed to me a rather complex.
