I forget who the user is who used to put them together, but they were some of my favorite regular threads in the old PUF.  I saw it once (maybe twice) on this new forum, but it seems to have stopped.

It was electrochoc. I guess the enthusiasm for it kinda went away along with the PUF.

I knew it was one of the regulars.  He is still active on this forum.  He must be too busy to compile the list.  I gotta say, he did a great job putting those lists together, and it must have taken some time to do, because they were quite thorough.  The popularity of those threads are a testament to the quality job he did putting them together.  Anyway, I am missing the monthly installments, I hope he finds time to do it again.

Another thing is, he seemed to have a lot of inside scoops, and I'm not sure how he obtains a lot of his info.  So that was another great thing about his threads.

But here is a quick rundown for those itching to know the latest:
Ochen K's Drive synth is in beta.  YouTube:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H5tgM4AAogk

AudioRealism's ABL3 Bass Synth (303 emulation) is in beta with upcoming Reasonistas song challenge to be announced.

New Dev, Ocean of Waves' Concert470 is a sampled FM Synthesizer Rack Extension in Beta

Primal Audio's FM4 synth is in beta.

Several Sound Spire continue to develop Spire Synth RE format for Reason. Image
ScuzzyEye announced in his FB page:  "Because of a discussion over on ReasonTalk.com I whipped up a quick effect RE. I'm calling it, "SU-27 Surround Matrix Decoder". I just submitted the first version 0.0.0 alpha build. This is something I can finish in about a week. So I'll just knock it out, and get back to the synth. This is an effect that I've wanted in the rack for a long time."

Another ScuzzyEye Re is a new synth:
"I've got all the GUI inputs on the front panel now. Again, this isn't the final design, or positioning, but I can replicate all parts of a factory patch now (but still need more DSP code before it will sound the same)."

There was this image leaked at Rack Extensionists FB group of a blue device (some know what it is already but NDA won't allow us to say yet):

Red Rock Sound also advised they are working on their first synth leaking this partial image on their FB page:
"According to user requests, several waveforms simultaneously with adjustment band independently for each."

This is rumored to be an update for LAB-ONE RECORDINGS ReQ131 (31 Band EQ Graphic Equalizer).

That was me (at least one of the requests!), voicing what had come up here in a discussion about reproducing some synth's sound...

Thanks Noel...Lots a cool stuff coming...I'm exited about ABL3 and Spire of course...But I will have to confess I'm also super super exited about the one Red Rock is working on !!!! :s0221:
on the old PUF Red Rock replied to post I made  and said they where working on a synth quote "More powerful" end quote..been pumped ever since :-)
Every time I use Ivoks all I keep saying to my self dam this synth sounds good an wish they made a polyphonic version with stereo spread Unison etc ..the whole works!

Ivoks sound fat as hell ..and the filter is butter smooth! I want to hear Red Rock new synth NOW ! :-)  *man I wish I was Beta testing that*  Hello Red Rock, throw a dog a bone !
My opinion is that Propellerhead REASON needs a complete rewrite!
P.S: people should stop saying "No it won't happen" when referring to a complete rewrite of REASON. I have 3 letters for ya....VST

I don't think beta testing has started yet. Try contacting them on FB. I don't think they are active here...
